ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A homicide investigation is underway after a 48-year-old man was found dead in north St. Louis late Sunday night.
Police received a call at 11:19 p.m. for a person ‘down’ in the 3600 block of Garrison.
The victim was found dead on a bicycle with a puncture wound to the mouth. Investigators found multiple shell casings near the victim.
The discovery marked the fifth homicide in north St. Louis over the weekend.
On Saturday morning, officers responded to reports of an unresponsive person in the 5500 block of Patridge. Upon arrival, police found a victim dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Later on Saturday, police were called to Sherry Avenue after a man was found shot and killed in an alley.
Then on Sunday, officers discovered a man dead inside his car near the intersection of Riverview and Broadway.
No arrests have been made in of the cases.
