ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Police have identified a man found dead on a north St. Louis street early Saturday morning.
Authorities say officers were called to the 5500 block of Partridge around 4:30 a.m. and found a man with several gunshot wounds.
Derrick Lamont Wade, 42, was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Wade was described as a black male between the ages of 30 and 40 years old.
Police say they are investigating the death, but have not released any further information.
