(KMOV) -- An early morning standoff has come to an end in Arnold, Missouri.
Around 3:30 a.m. on Monday, a 44 year old Fenton man climbed a construction crane at I-55 and Route 141.
The troubled man was on the crane for several hours. Police say he threatened to commit suicide by heroin overdose and or hanging.
The man was later talked down just before 7 a.m. by officers on the scene, arrested and admitted to a local hospital for evaluation. No injuries were reported.
