(KMOV.com) -- A warrant has been issued in the murder of a man who was stabbed to death at a motel in north St. Louis in April.

Davion Williams was charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Darnell Jones, 41, at a First Western Inn in the 4800 block of N. Broadway.

Authorities say they discovered Jones dead with stab wounds to the head.

Williams was arrested Thursday in connection with the robbery of Pulaski Bank located in the 3700 block of S. Grand. Williams was also charged with first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action.

Williams is being held on a $1 million cash-only bond.
