(KMOV.com) – Police have charged a man with shooting and killing a teenager in Bellefontaine Neighbors.
Rashaun Like, 20, was charged Friday with first-degree murer and armed criminal action.
According to court documents, Like shot Deshon Duncan, 17, on the sidewalk in the 620 block of Science Hill Dr. around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
Relatives of Duncan initially said the shots came from a car with several people inside. The motive for the shooting was still unknown Friday.
The shooting marked the first homicide in Bellefontaine Neighbors in over a decade. Crime stats indicate the last homicide there was in 2000.
