(KMOV) – A fugitive was arrested by U.S. Marshalls after he allegedly shot two people in Jennings in late April.
William White, 42, was charged Wednesday with two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action. He remains in custody on a $300,000 cash-only bond.
According to police, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 5300 block of Helen on April 20. Upon their arrival, police found two men who said they had been shot by White, who fled the scene.
On May 22, police enlisted the help of U.S. Marshalls in locating White. They investigated and located White at a home in the 300 block of Bluff Dr. in St. Louis.
He was arrested without incident.
