SOUTH ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 21-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the shooting death of a north St. Louis man on June 27.
Police said Byron Pollard on Thursday was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action.
On June 27, Pollard allegedly drove up to two people standing along a street in the 3800 block of Louisiana and started shooting. Ira Steele, 26, was killed and a 20-year-old woman was injured.
Pollard is being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
