SOUTH ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A man caught 3 men trying to break into his car Friday evening.
The victim said he was inside his house on the 5600 block of Bischoff Avenue when a car stopped outside and saw 2 people tampering with his car and another person's car.
According to police, he yelled at the suspects and they fled in a SUV. One of the suspects fired shots at the man, but no one was injured.
Police describe the suspects as 3 black males between the ages of 17 and 20 driving a small maroon SUV.
