ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com)—A woman is in serious condition after her boyfriend allegedly set her on fire Thursday evening in south St. Louis.
According to police, a 34-year-old man set his 36-year-old girlfriend on fire at a home in the 4600 block of Allemania.
The woman was rushed to a local hospital where she is in serious condition. Officers on scene took the man into custody just before 8 p.m.
It was not clear what caused the man to set the victim on fire.
The identities of the victim or suspect have not yet been released.
Police are currently investigating.
