MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo (KMOV.com) -- A St. Peters man is charged with scamming money from an 88-year-old Alzheimer's patient.

38-year-old Jeremy McClellan admitted to Maryland Heights police that he received excessive amounts of money for doing simple chores. In one case, the woman paid him $400 dollars to do those dishes.

It is believed that McClellan took almost $4,000 before family members discovered what was happening.

Bail was set at $100,000.
