ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A St. Louis-area man has admitted to methampetamine-related charges, saying he purchased more than 5,000 cold pills in 389 trips to pharmacies to pay child support.

Thirty-six-year-old Leonard Wilson of Arnold pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court. Authorities say he sold boxes of pills containing pseudoephedrine knowing they would be used to manufacture meth.

He will be sentenced later this year and could face up to 11 years in prison.
