(KMOV) -- Four hundred formerly homeless families will be receiving a little help with their Thanksgiving dinners this year.
Ten donors, including Nooter Corp, Schnucks, St. Louis University Alpha Eta service group and St. Clement parish, will take part in St. Patrick Center's Give Thanks Thanksgiving distribution program.
The ten donors will donate turkeys and other traditional Thanksgiving dishes to 400 formerly homeless St. Patrick Center clients and their families. These families will be celebrating Thanksgiving day in their new homes.
Families will be picking up their Thanksgiving baskets at the St. Patrick Center on November 21. and 22.
St. Patrick Center's mission statement is: "St. Patrick Center provides opportunities for self-sufficiency and dignity to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Individuals and families achieve permanent, positive changes in their lives through safe and affordable housing, sound mental and physical health, and employment and financial stability."
