ST. LOUIS (KMOV)-- Area companies and restaurants are offering fundraisers,reduced rates and  discounts for those residents affected by the massive apartment fire in St. Louis.

The Pickelman's Sandwich Shop is holding a profit share fundraiser on Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. donating a portion of the profits from that time to benefit the fire victims. Pickelman's is located on 3722 Laclede Avenue. 

West End Apartments is offering to waive fees and give fire victims a $400 credit and University Heights Loft Apartments will be hosting a barbecue for those displaced residents, allowing them the chance for a free meal and assistance with finding a new place to live.

The St. Louis Apartment Association is also helping residents search for a new home.

Temporary assistance is being offered by the St. Louis Red Cross at 4050 Lindell.

Multiple hotels are offering rooms to these victims at a discounted rate, including Holiday Inn Viking, The Coronado, and Hampton Inn & Suites.
