(KMOV) – A Lincoln County woman was charged with a misdemeanor after attempting to shoot her husband, according to police.

It was reported Laura Tannehill held a .22 caliber Ruger to her husband’s head, bit him on the nose and attempted to shoot him as he ran away from their home on Green Oak Lane in Lincoln County.

Authorities say Tannehill will serve two years probation and attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings each week.
