ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A reward is being offered for information on the death of a man who was shot and killed in the Soulard area on January 26.
James Clavin, 34, was shot several times near the intersection of 8th and Carroll streets while trying to help a woman involved in a confrontation with two men.
Clavin was transported to St. Louis University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to his family, Clavin is survived by his wife, 5-year-old son and 22-month-old son.
The family is offering a $10,000 reward for anyone who provides information leading to an arrest and conviction.
