Maybe it was the time of day (9am to 10am) we were at Lambert Airport. It wasn't busy at all. You figure on one of the so-called "busiest travel days of the year," there'd be a constant crowd.
I talked five travelers and there wasn't a complaint among them as they approached the swift-moving security line in the main terminal.
One couple said they got to the airport three hours early in anticipation of the madness but there was none of it.
I talked to another couple that had just landed after flying in from Dallas. DFW is a huge airport. Surely it was a circus there.
The couple told me TSA wasn't even using the controversial scanners that's got much of the country freaking out over. Hmm.
That same couple says they'll be flying back to Dallas on Friday. Do they expect a lot of company that day?
