ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- Ladue School District's superintendent will take a professional leave of absence until her retirement, according to a release from the district on Friday.
Dr. Marsha Chappelow's leave will reportedly begin Dec. 1, and continue until her effective retirement date of June 30, 2013.
The release states that Chappelow "requested leave at this time for personal reasons."
Chappelow announced her retirement from the district earlier this year. She served as superintendent for eight years.
The school board is in the process of searching for a replacement, according to the release.
