Labor Day Parade closes downtown streets Monday morning

(KMOV.com) – Many streets in downtown St. Louis were closed early Monday morning due to the annual Labor Day Parade which began at Olive and 15th Street.

The parade began at 9 a.m. but streets started to close at 6:30 a.m. Olive was closed between 15th Street and Jefferson while streets numbered 15th through 23rd were closed between Pine and Locust. Jefferson was closed between Pine and Locust.

At 8 a.m. Market was closed along 15th Street and Tucker while at the same time Tucker was closed between Market and Olive.

City officials said all streets reopened by 12:30 p.m.
