(KMOV) – Police in Red Bud investigated a report of a “kill list “found at an elementary school Friday morning.

According to authorities, officials at Red Bud Elementary School located a paper with eleven student names listed under the heading “Kill List,” in the procession of a sixth-grade girl.

Detectives were notified and interviewed the child with a professional psychologist who determined the child presented “no credible threat.” The student presented no danger to anyone and that she should not be charged with any criminal activity.

Police believe it was a simple case of a child “acting out” and their investigation was concluded.

No word on what, if any, disciplinary action the school planned to take against the child.

A statement from the school has not been released to News 4 at this time.
