(KMOV) – A public information officer for the Jennings Police Department confirms that Lieutenant Shawn Lane was fired at Monday night’s council meeting.
This comes after Lane and others allegedly pocketed overtime grant money instead of setting up check points for which the funds were intended.
A special meeting for the other officers involved is expected later this week.
