(KMOV) -- The Jefferson County sheriff's department discovered a meth lab inside a home early Tuesday morning.
Residents called the authorities after smelling a strange odor coming from a home on Meadow Drive at Jarvis Road in Joachim, Missouri.
When officers arrived, they found an active meth lab.
Several children were in the home at the time. They were taken from the scene by ambulance.
No word on any arrests in this case.
