Illinois woman died of H1N1

KMOV - An 18 year-old from Illinois died from the H1N1 flu.

Brooke Williams of Pocahontas, Illinois died November 5th. She had been complaining of headache, backache, muscle weakness, and vomiting.

Doctors initially told her she didn't have the flu, but a coroner disagreed and Williams later tested positive for H1N1. Williams had cerebral palsy and seizure disorder. She suffered a seizure the day she died.

This was the the second H1N1 flu-related death in Madison County.
