DU QUOIN, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Illinois State Police are seeking the public’s help in locating two dangerous persons of interest.

A shooting was reported in the Lake of Egypt area in Johnson County, Illinois on Monday. Based on witness statements, John L. Cunningham, 41, and Janet S. Cunningham, 43, of Windsor, Illinois are believed to be involved in the shooting.

Police are also looking for a stolen 1988 Gray Dodge Dakota pick-up truck with a black topper. The truck has Illinois license plates with number 38392W.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the Cunninghams or the stolen pick-up truck is urged to contact the Illinois State Police at 618-542-2171 ext. 1202 or call 911.

The persons of interest are believed to be armed and dangerous and could be traveling in Illinois.
