ST. LOUIS (KMOV) - The Humane Society in St. Louis is caring for animals rescued from Vienna, MO.
40 dogs, rabbits, horses, and goats were found. The animals were severely underweight and and had little access to food or fresh water.
The Maries County Sheriff's Office received a tip that animals were being abused at a property in Vienna. Several goats, pigs and sheep remain at the property while the investigation continues. At this time, News 4 does not know who owns the land or the animals.
