MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Less than a week after Hollywood Casino reported a computer glitch and asked all patrons to leave, a similar situation arose Friday morning.
An employee at the casino confirmed that around 5 a.m., the gambling floor was closed. A casino official said there was a glitch with the operating system that runs all the electronic gambling machines. A customer at the casino called News 4 and said all customers were being asked to leave.
Hollywood Casino, formerly Harrah’s, experienced a similar glitch on Monday and the Missouri Gaming Commission stepped in.
Casino officials said they were able to fix the issue and reopen the establishment around 9:30 a.m.
Further details regarding the glitch were not disclosed.
