ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – The weather should not be an issue as trick-or-treaters head out the door for Halloween, though they will want to bundle up, said News 4 Chief Meteorologist Steve Templeton.

According to Templeton, temperatures will start off in the mid-to-low 50s, but will drop to the 40s by mid-evening.

“A little breeze will add to the chill, but that will ease up after sunset,” Templeton said.

Sunset Tuesday will be at 6:01 p.m., with dusk lasting until about 6:30 p.m.

“There’s also a nearly-full moon, as 98.1 percent of it will be illuminated,” said Templeton.
