Sometimes something rare happens and we at KMOV.com feel forced to share, even if it's against our better news judgment.

That was the case Tuesday when a News 4 reporter captured a picture of a full-grown goat hanging out outside Sidebar on Washington Ave.

At first we thought it was just a random goat sighting, but after some research we learned the goat is serving a bigger purpose.

The goat, it turns out, is named LeeRoy Brown, and is walking from the Space Needle in Seattle to Times Square in New York. Joining LeeRoy is his owner, Steve Westcott.

LeeRoy and Steve have been walking across the country for two years as part of a cross-country journey hoping to raise $200,000 to build an orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya.

Steve is a part of Uzima Outreach International, an organization created to help drug addicts in Kenya. He has raised less than $30,000 so far.

You can learn more about Steve and LeeRoy's journey in the video below. Click here if using a mobile device.
