POTOSI (KMOV.com) – Funeral arrangements are in place for Deputy Christopher Parsons.

Parsons, a Washington County Deputy, was killed in the line of duty early on the morning of Dec 15. Parsons had been on the force for two months and graduated from the Mineral College Law Enforcement Academy in October. Parsons was engaged and leaves behind his fiancé and two children.

Visitation will be held on Dec. 18 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home, which is located at 105 Clark Street in Potosi; and on Dec. 19 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m at the Potosi First Baptist Church. The First Baptist Church is located at 10479 Highway P, Potosi.

The funeral service will be also be at the Potosi First Baptist Church on Dec 19 at 11:00 a.m. A funeral procession will precede the funeral at 8:15 a.m. The procession will start at the Moore Funeral Home and end at the First Baptist Church.

Donations can be made under the Deputy Bereavement Fund at Belgrade State Bank in Potosi.
