(KMOV) – Former Calhoun County official, three others charged with using false reports to collect insurance money.
The former supervisor of Assessments for Calhoun County, Sherrie Brandie Kieffer was involved with three others in a scheme that involved Kieffer’s van being driven into the Mississippi River.
They did this in an attempt to get the insurance money for the loss after Kieffer reported her van stolen in December 2012.
Police say Kieffer lost her job as assessor because of problems dating back to 2007. The identities of the three others involved have not been released at this time.
All four suspects are facing prison time and fines.
