ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Missourians whose homes were foreclosed on between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2011, and who qualify under the National Mortgage Settlement, have until January 18 to file a claim.

Missourians who qualify would have had their homes foreclosed on between those dates and had a mortgage loan serviced by Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, Citi, or GMAC/Ally.

Homeowners should have received a claim form from a settlement administrator. Those forms must be postmarked or emailed on or before January 18 to qualify.

Any Missourian who lost the claim form, or who believes he or she qualifies for the settlement but did not receive a claim form, should immediately call the Settlement Administrator’s toll-free number at 1-866-430-8358.

More information about the National Mortgage Settlement is available on the Attorney General’s website at ago.mo.gov and the national settlement website at nationalmortgagesettlement.com.
