Firefighters not told highly volatile chemical would pass through St. Louis

(KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Fire Department told News 4 it was not informed that tankers with traces of Bakken oil would be moving through St. Louis.

Fire officials told News 4 they are usually notified when dangerous chemicals or substances are moved through town.

In July 2013, a train with Bakken oil exploded in Quebec, killing 40 people.
