(KMOV.com) – Firefighters responded to a house fire in the Metro East late Thursday night.

According to the Sauget Fire Department, the fire broke out just before 9:30 p.m. in the 3400 block of Bellevue. Neighbors told News 4 a homeless person had been living at the home and was unaccounted for. 

 

Firefighters said that there were no injuries reported and that the house was vacant.
