FENTON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Seventy-five firefighters from eight departments and 22 emergency response vehicles responded to a four-alarm fire in Fenton Thursday night.
Authorities said the fire broke out at the Maritz building located at 1365 N. Highway Drive around 8:00 p.m. The building was evacuated and those who work in the building will do so remotely on Friday.
A Maritz spokesperson said work was being done on the roof, but the company is unsure of the fire’s cause.
The building where the fire broke out primarily houses research and IT facilities, according to a spokesperson.
Maritz said all employees inside the building were not hurt.
