ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – Several crews were on the scene of a blaze that ripped through a south St. Louis home Tuesday morning.
The fire sparked shortly before 6 a.m. at a 3-story brick home located at 2015 Allen near the intersection of Mississippi Ave. The fire reportedly started in the basement of the building.
Officials tell News 4, this home was occupied at the time of the fire. There was still no word on injuries at this time.
Surrounding buildings were evacuated out of precaution of possible flame spreading.
No other details have been released.
