ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- Fire crews are working to contain a blaze that has caused serious structural damage to a home in south St. Louis.
Crews were called to the 4600 block of Alaska Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Heavy smoke poured out of the house as firemen used a crane to douse flames emerging from the roof.
Fire officials have not said whether anyone was inside the home at the time of the fire.
