(KMOV.com) -- Fire officials are investigating a "suspicious" blaze in a Cahokia neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.
The fire started at a vacant house in the 100 block of St. Dorothy around 2:30 p.m., then spread to a home next door.
Booker Grisby lives next to the vacant house, and said his daughter saw three young boys who may have started the fire.
"My daughter said she didn't see faces, she just seen them running out," said Grisby.
Firefighters spent several hours knocking down hotspots in the vacant house. Grisby's home suffered minor damage in the fire.
Cahokia officials said they are investigating several other fires at abandoned homes within the past week.
