FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.COM) – Educators teamed together with the Ferguson library to offer free tutoring to students who had school canceled because of the unrest in Ferguson.
The library began holding tutoring on Monday when a dozen kids attended, since then the numbers have grown. On Tuesday, 40 students attended and Wednesday saw 150 students overflowing the auditorium.
All the tutors are volunteers, some are retired teachers while others are high school students.
The library will continue offering tutoring through Friday.
