ST LOUIS (KMOV) – Some local families are claiming that the locations of area bus stops are not safe, and filed lawsuits in the wake of the death of a man and the crippling injuries of two women.
One of the women injured, Marsha Robinson, says she’s suing Bi-State Development, the Missouri Department of Transportation and St. Louis County for negligence. This comes after she was struck when a car crashed into her as she waited for a Metro bus at Natural Bridge and Lucas and Hunt in Beverly Hills.
Another woman, Vicki Wright, says her family is suing the same parties. Her brother, Frank Wright, was killed last June when a car hit him at a St. Louis County bus stop. She says something must be done before someone else dies.
