VALLEY PARK, Mo. (AP) -- The former mayor of the St. Louis County town of Valley Park is now facing fraud charges for use of a city credit card.
Nathan Grellner resigned in July after missing virtually every city meeting for several months, after his arrest on driving while intoxicated charges in June, and after it was revealed that he had racked up thousands of dollars worth of charges on the city’s Mastercard.
Grellner had claimed he confused the city credit card with his own and said most of the items had been returned. But he was charged Tuesday with four felony fraud counts.
Grellner also is facing six misdemeanor charges from the June 5 DWI arrest in Byrnes Mill.
