(KMOV.com) -- Suspects armed with guns forced their way into a north St. Louis home Tuesday night and stole various electronic items and cash.

Police said the home invasion happened at a residence in the 5000 block of Geraldine Avenue.  The victim told police that someone knocked on his door around 10:30 p.m.  The victim said he saw four men outside.  He recognized one of them, so he opened the door.  As the victim was opening the door, the four suspects forced their way into the home.

According to police, one suspect was armed with a pistol and another had a shotgun.  Once inside, the suspects started grabbing electronic items.  Reportedly, they took a television, Xbox 360, Xbox Kinect accessory, a printer, a cell phone and $1,000 in cash.

A 53-year-old man, a 23-year-old woman and a toddler were in the home during the crime, but no injuries were reported and no shots were fired.

All four men fled out the back door of the home.  Police are investigating the crime and looking for the suspects.
