(KMOV) -- Roodhouse Police and Illinois State Police are investigating the murder of a 72-year-old woman.
Authorities discovered the body of Carol Andrews in her home on Friday at approximately 10 p.m. Friday night. Roodhouse police responded to a call from neighbors of a resident in the 300 block of West Grand Ave.
An autopsy determined Andrews died from asphyxiation. Lieutenant James Morrisey with the Illinois State Police said police and investigators are following every possible lead and conducting numerous interviews.

Roodhouse, Illinois is approximately 80 miles north of St. Louis in Greene County on Highway 67.
