(KMOV.com) – Many parents are criticizing a decision by the Edwardsville School board to appoint someone who was rejected by voters in the most recent election.
The board appointed Greg Roosenvelt, who lost in a bid for an open board seat, to fill the seat of a member who stepped down. Many parents told News 4 the board is not listening to their concerns
“They do not care about our votes. They don’t care about the democratic process. They do care about any of it,” parent Noelle Erber said.
Rosenvelt finished fourth in last year’s election.
