(KMOV) – The U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force says they have captured a 33-year-old East St. Louis man who allegedly had sexual contact with a 15-year-old boy.

Authorities tell News 4 that they captured Earlest Johnson Tuesday afternoon.  Earlest has been charged with Aggravated Sexual Abuse after he allegedly confessed to sexually abusing a teen boy twice in his basement at 631 N 75th Street.

Detectives believe the abuse had been going on since the summer of 2011.

Johnson is the assistant track coach for the East St. Louis Flyers; he is also part of a dance troupe. He cuts hair in his home’s basement barber shop. Police say through his barber shop business, Johnson met his teenage victim. The alleged abuse took place off school grounds.

Police say Johnson promised detectives he would turn himself in by 4 p.m. Monday but never showed.

U.S. Marshals are expected to release details about the arrest Tuesday afternoon.
