EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) -- State fire investigators are trying to pinpoint what caused a blaze that destroyed an East St. Louis nightclub where a man was run over and killed two months ago. Officials say there were no injuries in the fire reported at the City Nights club shortly before 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, while the business apparently was closed. The business was the scene of one of two killings near East St. Louis clubs in early October that prompted the city's mayor to briefly order that local bars halt their alcohol sales five hours earlier.
