Early morning shooting, car wreck in north St. Louis under investigation

(KMOV) -- Police are investigating a shooting and a car wreck in north St. Louis.
 
Around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a shooting in the 4100 block of Turner.
 
A man was shot in the arm.
           
A short time later and half a mile away, a car crashed into a pole at Margaretta and Taylor.
 
The people in the car ran from the scene.
 
The vehicle involved in the crash matched the description of a vehicle connected to the shooting.
 
Police have not released information about the suspects in this case.
