ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- In the past 48 hours, two deaths within blocks of each other have residents in Dutchtown calling for help.
24-year-old Allante Edmondson was shot to death Wednesday night on South Grand just a few blocks from the scene of a fire now being investigated as a homicide.
Thursday detectives were back at the home of 49-year-old Brinda Babcock on Giles Avenue.
Babcock was discovered stabbed inside her burning home yesterday. Thursday night, police have a plan to curb crime in the neighborhood.
