CRESTWOOD, Mo. (KMOV) – An elderly woman says she accidentally hit the gas and crashed into a fitness club in Crestwood on Monday.
According to store employees, the victim was driving around 9 a.m. when she accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brakes and slammed into the front window of the Anytime Fitness in the 340 block of Watson.
A woman working out inside the club suffered cuts to her arm. No other injuries were reported. The driver’s condition was unknown.
Several pieces of gym equipment sustained damages.
