(KMOV) – The largest winter storm the Midwest has seen in two years forced more than 300 flight cancelations at Lambert International Airport on Thursday.
Officials said more than 170 arriving and 160 departing flights were canceled as of 3 p.m. That's about 60 percent of all Lambert flights.
American Airlines, United Airlines and Air Canada Jazz have already canceled every flight through 8 a.m. Friday.
Southwest Airlines and US Airways have canceled all flights through the rest of Thursday.
Flight cancellations are decided by individual airlines, according to Lambert officials. Officials say travelers with tickets for Thursday and Friday flight should contact their airline directly to find out their flight status.
Most airlines are waiving fees for customers whose flights have been canceled.
