ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The Ameren Missouri Thanksgiving Day Parade celebrated its 28th year in downtown St. Louis.
The parade stepped off at 8:45 a.m. at North 4th Street and Washington Avenue and traveled south on North 4th Street to Market Street. Then, from Market to 10th Street.
The parade include dozens of floats and larger than life helium balloons, area marching bands competing in the annual Battle of the Bands contest and more than 100 other organizations. Last but not least, Santa ended the parade with his grand float and string of reindeer flying through a model Gateway Arch.
