I can pick him up, I can roll him over, I can do anything I want to him and he doesn't care, he 's so easy going. And he's 50 or 60 pounds, he's not a puppy," said Jennifer Walsh. (KMOV.com)- Starting in January 2012, pit bulls will be a breed banned from the city of Overland.

Officials say this ban is not a result of any particular incident, but rather is the city being proactive based on what other cities across the country have adopted concerning pit bull laws.

Any pit bull registered before January 2012 will be grandfathered in.

This is all part of a new Overland Animal Control Ordinance.
